Lesson 3.7: Monthly Class Kits & Plug-and-Play Options

There are two ways to plan your Everyday Movement class. You can teach using a class kit as written or use plug-and-play options to customize the Work and Cool-Down + Cognitive Drill segments.
Option 1) Class Kits

Class kits provide structure and variety to support your teaching. Each kit offers a complete, ready-to-teach Everyday Movement class that follows the established class format.

How does it work?
  • Select a class kit to use as your ready-to-teach class.
  • Each kit includes the full class structure, exercises, timing, and teaching reminders.
  • Use the class kit more than once to help build familiarity and confidence for both you and your participants.
  • When you’re ready for a change, choose another Class Kit or use the Plug-and-Play option to add variety.
  • Class kits are designed to simplify planning while helping you provide a consistent and engaging class experience.

Below is an example of a class kit. You can find all available class kits in the Instructor Resources section at the end of the course.

Option 2) Plug-and-Play

The plug-and-play option give you more flexibility to customize portions of your Everyday Movement class while still following the established class format.

How does it work?
  • The plug-and-play videos are available for the Work and Cool-Down + Cognitive Drill segments.
    • When customizing the Work segment, maintain the established sequence of lower body, upper body, and core.
  • Select a video that fits the needs of your class and participants.
    • Mix and match available video options to create additional class variations while maintaining the overall Everyday Movement structure.
  • Continue to follow the established timing and teaching guidelines for each segment.
Key Takeaway
Whether you use a class kit as written or customize select segments with plug-and-play options, continue to follow the established class format and timing.
