Webinar Introduction
You know them, you love them— the soft playball, handheld weights, and elastic tubing! These tools are staples in SilverSneakers Classic and Circuit classes, helping participants build strength, coordination, and confidence. Upon completion, you will be awarded one continuing education credit towards the renewal of SilverSneakers Foundations.
Webinar Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the webinar, instructors will learn:
- The benefits of each signature tool.
- How to transition safely between tools using Entry, Action, Exit (EAE) principles.
- How to check equipment integrity to ensure safety.
- Best practices for storage before, during, and after class.
Webinar Completion & Credit Instructions:
Step One: Attend the Live Webinar.
You can only take this quiz after attending the Live Webinar. To proceed, click “next” at the bottom of the page.
Step Two: Complete the quiz.
You must successfully complete the quiz with a passing score to earn one (1) continuing education credit. The one (1) Tivity credit and quiz will be available for 30 days from the date you take the live webinar.
Step Three: Download your course completion certificate.
After completing and passing the quiz, you can download your continuing education certificate from your profile at instructor.tivityhealth.com. Make certain to keep your instructor profile up-to-date and complete all required continuing education.
