Educational tips & drills
This section includes 12 weeks of educational tips and drills that can be included in a Stress Management Program. You may also choose to incorporate these resources into your already existing SilverSneakers classes, or you can choose to design a separate program for your members based around the education provided to you in this module. Moving meditations like those demonstrated in the video resources below, can be implemented effectively during the cool-down segment of your SilverSneakers classes or by themselves as part of a 12-week Stress Management Program. The mindfulness techniques demonstrated in this lesson are a great way to finish off your class experience and can be taught during relaxation.
Each week of this instructor education series includes a short info and tips video along with practical video examples you can use to incorporate stress management strategies and mindfulness into your SilverSneakers class experiences. For maximum effectiveness, learn and practice the material before presenting it during your regular classes. Tips for stress management can be presented at the beginning of class or during the cool-down or relaxation segment.
