Lesson 4.1: Music

For this action-based workout, choose music that is motivating with a strong beat to facilitate seamless transitions from Muscle Conditioning Blocks to Action Intervals. Action Intervals can be taught “to the beat” at a moderate pace, or taught allowing each participant to choose their movement speed. Our tempo guideline of 124-130 BPM should be used during Muscle Conditioning Blocks and allows participants to execute movements with proper form, technique, and control. Specially designed music that indicates interval timing may also be beneficial.
